Jessica Lohr
Instructor

Jessica Lohr is a Houston, Texas, native who began her dance training at age seven. She trained under Victoria Vittum, James Payne, and Bridget Payne, and spent her summers at intensives including Boston Ballet, Texas Ballet Theater, Ballet Magnificat, and The Washington Ballet. After high school, she joined The Washington Ballet’s Professional Training Program, performing in Don Quixote, Études, and The Nutcracker.


Jessica has danced professionally with Ballet Magnificat, Ballet 5:8 (where she was promoted to Soloist in 2020), and Zion Dance Project. She has toured nationally and internationally to Honduras, Guam, South Korea, and China. Jessica has also taught ballet extensively, serving as Children’s Division Director at the School of Ballet 5:8 and she is currently teaching at Dallas Ballet Center and Classical School of Dallas.  Holding her Bachelor of Science in Social Work and certification in Progressing Ballet Technique, Jessica is passionate about cultivating strong technique, expressive artistry, and the overall health and dignity of the dancers she teaches.
